💡 What does the ending really mean?

Barbie uncovers that both Barbieland and the real world are engineered by patriarchal design: the Barbies stripped of agency, the Kens reduced to decorative accessories. In the climax, after a ludicrous battle of the sexes, she rejects plastic perfection, chooses to become human, and Gloria delivers the monologue exposing the impossible trap of modern femininity. Ken is left a purposeless accessory. Symbolically the ending is a capitulation: the world's most famous doll abandons her pink matriarchal utopia to enter flawed reality, conceding that neither corporate feminism nor toy patriarchy works. The pink fades, fantasy dies, and all that remains is one more ordinary woman in the world that invented her.
