Ending Explained: Halloween Night

💡 What does the ending really mean?

Michael Myers slaughters his way through the cast, corners Laurie Strode in a closet, and takes a coat hook to the eye plus multiple bullets before tumbling out a second-story window. When Loomis and Laurie reach the lawn, his body has vanished, leaving only the blank white mask on the grass. The ending declares that pure evil is immortal and impersonal. Myers was never a man but an implacable force wearing human shape; his disappearance turns the night into an open-ended cosmic threat, proving that good can only buy temporary breathing room against something that cannot be killed or understood.
