Sanguine

Marion Le Corroller’s Sanguine operates as a visceral, blood-soaked dissection of human fragility, where the literal and metaphorical bleed of life becomes the central thematic anchor. By stripping away traditional narrative comforts, Le Corroller forces the audience to confront the raw, unglamorous reality of existence, suggesting that vitality is inseparable from violation. The climax arrives not with a cathartic resolution, but as a suffocating crescendo of sensory overload, where the tone shifts from cold observation to chaotic, almost hallucinatory despair, leaving the viewer suspended in a final, lingering silence that feels less like an ending and more like a permanent wound.
